Walter is Jeff Dunhams’ uptight old pensioner.

He is “unhappily” happily married, and complains non-stop about life and everything else.

As Jeff Dunham says, everybody loves Walter because everybody knows somebody just like him, whether it’s family or just a friend.

A classic line (while on the phone with his wife):
Wife: “Did you HANG UP on me!?!?”
Walter: “I don’t know, did it sound like this?” CLICK!
